Eeeeeeeee!

No, I'm not screaming, the laptop I have is an ASUS Eee which always strikes me as funny.
Replacing it has been on my list of things to do for a really, really long time and today it finally happened. My laptop/netbook is at least 6 years old and it has been an increasing battle to get anything done especially since they stopped any sort of support for Windows XP. My eyeballs were practically bleeding from all the reading I've done, trying to make an informed and affordable decision and I'm rather amused by the fact that I've ended up purchasing another ASUS Eee. I did get an awfully good deal though, under $200.
The heat wave broke, too, today there's thunder and rain and it is more than twenty degrees cooler than it was last week.
