A Glorious Day
Firstly, I stayed in bed till 8:30 which is rare for me. M's friend came (she is a Potter), bringing tamales and home grown tomatoes; there was excellent conversation and companionship. Then there was a Netflix (most of which M. slept through) and then the night was crisp and clear with no moon, the coyotes baying in the near distance, the stars (OK, I can only name, like, 4 constellations, and the Milky Way clearly visible; and I thought "If I were to see a shooting star, I'd make this wish...and I'll be darned if a meteor didn't shoot right across my field of vision as soon as I'd thought it. It's so wonderfully dark right now that a single candle gives plenty of light. Perfect.
